Alright, I never do this, but my emotions are so high right now that I just need to say something:
Quinn Ewers is giving me so much excitement right now. He’s had, what, 4 days to prepare for the most important day of his life? And other than the first 2 plays of the game (1 of which was a completion!), he has looked so comfortable in his new role. He doesn’t look frazzled at all and it doesn’t look like the game is too big for him. He isn’t forcing anything, he's making smart decisions, and is it just me or does the ball come out of his hands so gracefully?
Of course, my brain starts going crazy thinking that we have our QB of the future (which obviously needs a lot more time to be determined), but if there's 1 thing I certainly have right now, it's hope. And excitement watching the kid play the game right now. I don’t care about the fact that the defense isn’t playing well. Not 1 bit.
Let’s see how the second half goes…
